In his infinite wisdom, Mr. Combs has smashed Cassie's version and the original Day 26 demo version together. Then he got himself a verse from Busta (whose romance jams always make me chuckle) and the latest Bad Boy addition, Red Cafe.

I still don't understand why the Cassie/Diddy version wasn't a monster hit, but hey...what do I know? I don't like this new version. It's crowded and messy.

P.S. - I have never missed my beloved RSX Type-S (a.k.a. The Valkyrie Missile) more than I do in this exact moment. She was a monster already, and we were just getting started. So beautiful, so light, so revv-happy. A sweet 13lb/hp ratio and the mods were just beginning! We only had 31 months thogether, then some asshole decided to steal her from the Menlo Mall parking lot. Who the fuck gets jacked in Menlo Park?!? Only me.

I've been waiting to hear some solo stuff from him (and P.O.R.N. for that matter). A song or two has come out, but I didn't post them because they didn't feel up to par with the earlier stuff I had heard. Haven't checked it yet, but hopefully this full mixtape has the goodness I expect.

Didn't know it was coming so "soon", but SRCP's new album, Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love will be in my greedy hands on June 23rd. Yes...hands...as in, I plan to buy a physical disc if possible. This is one of those albums when I need the quality to be perfect.

Anyway, it's a huge, 23-track double disc wih a bunch of features from folks you've never heard of, but will presumably Google and download music from by this time next month. Good times!! Needless to say, I'm off-the-charts excited for this album. Sa-Ra is on my "Why The Hell Aren't People Up On This Shit" monument right next to The Carps and J*Davey.
