Props to The Original Winger (2-0, WHOOOOOOO!!!!!!) for posting this earlier and thus inspiring my grand query:

Do we like Kid CuDi jams because of Kid CuDi...or because he has incredible taste in the samples he decides to do his thing over. I honestly hope it's the former . . .but I'm not so sure. I guess we won't know until the album drops.
