RIDICULOUS Rhymefest Album Leak Story

This is one of the strangest things I've heard in some time:

There's some whack-job out there calling himself "Prometheus", who claims to have stolen Rhymefest's personal iPod . . .an iPod containing the yet-to-be-released new album, El Che.

How do we know this . . .because the jackass sent in a letter to a Chicago-based hip-hop blog that reads like a combination of the Unibomber's "Manifesto", and a fan letter from the fat chick in Misery.

Read it here

Homeslice is COMPLETELY bonkers! For anyone too lazy to read the whole thing: Dude is essentialy holding the album hostage because he's a huge fan of Rhymefest and hates the way his label (J Records...go figure) is treating his work. "Prometheus" threatens to leak a song per week until J Records either sets a definite release date, drops a single, or puts out a video . . .yeah. Clearly this man doesn't understand that NO major label is gonna throw marketing cash behind an album that everyone already has. Poor misguided bastard.

And just in case anyone thought he was bullshitting, he let 2 tracks go early:

"Bring It Back" (produced by G.O.A.T., DJ Jazzy Jeff)

"Real Nigga Quotes" - prod. by DJ Premier

Well . . .safe to say, Mr. Fest isn't happy about this.
I'll update if anything new comes out of this.
