MLS All-Star Game 2011: Newark/Harrison

NYC, my ass, baby!  The All-Stars are coming to Brick City! HA!
I just heard about this less than 3min ago, so I'm off-the-wall excited.

So many things to plan.  Such a long list of players to drunkenly confront at parties.
BECKERMAN!!!  I'm coming for you, chump!  I'm gonna snatch you out of the club, drag you to Flatbush and have you explain to them just how authentic those blonde dreads are.  Fucker.

Oh man.  Can't wait.
I am gonna act a proper fuckin' FOOL!

UPDATE:  And the Saturday after the game is my birthday.  Oh yes.  I'mma get ig'nant.

No love for Rasta Kyle?

How do you feel about Charlie possibly coming to DC? Is he spared your wrath?

Blonde dreads is an instant Shit List entry for me. It's completely antithetical to the culture that the wearer is pretending to support.

And honestly, I've never been a Charlie Davies fan. I never understood what all the fuss was about. Never thought he warranted the lust he got from American fans. DC can have him. Fair chance that they'll blow a bucket of allocation money and cap space for a striker that may never be more than average again.

I agree a lot of it was premature. But scoring against Egypt, burning Spain with speed, assisting Donovan on his goal against Brazil, and scoring in Mexico City will do that, especially when we have very few other striker options.

At least that you have to admit that we could have done better in the World Cup (Robbie Findley, anyone? Ugggh) Because looking back, I don't think we did all that great. 1 win, 2 draws and a loss? Developing a reputation for letting in early goals? Exciting yes, but not that great.
