I'll give you the short version:
Since J-Dilla passed away, his mother has been having a rough time of things. There have been major legal issues regarding Dilla's estate, and as a result, Ms. Yancey (a.k.a. Ma Dukes) has since lost her house and is now having trouble paying medical bills as her own heath takes a turn for the worse.
To help out, production team Solillaquists of Sound have made a single from their new album available for download with a minumum $2 donation. 100% of the money goes to Ms. Yancey.
