Mountain Dew: Green Label Sound

The world's most fantastic non-alcoholic beverage, Mountain Dew has launched a bit of a musical initiative they're calling Green Label Sound. What's the purpose of this beyond sellin' me some soda? I have no idea, and don't give a rat's eye. Luckily for me, the first 2 artist they picked happen to be personal favorites. Above is the jam from The Cool Kids, and next in line is a new song from the vastly underrated duo, Matt & Kim, as well as 2 more artist sometime this fall. Stay tuned to the GLS site (or here). Each song will be downloadable (is that a word?) as they debut.

This has the distinct scent of a short, major-city, small venue tour. Hmmm . . .
