Chromeo - Hot Mess

Can we get Chromeo to produce a posthumous Robert Palmer remix album?
No?  Nobody even wants that, you say?  Ok then.  Fine.

Chromeo: Business Casual

Looking like a good new music Tuesday.
Also out today (finally!) is Chromeo's new album, Business Casual.  I'm still upset that I didn't have this album to jam for the summer.  I can't retro funk in a sweater, son!!

Chromeo - Make It Rough

05-chromeo - you make it rough by Spa_Water
Dammit, I love this stuff.

You know what we all need?  A Chromeo/Cameo collabo mixtape or concert or something.
Someone with some actual influence needs to make this happen.
I would use actual money to see this happen.

Business Casual, on the 14th!!
(yet another album that has NO business being released in Fall)

Chromeo - Don't Turn the Lights On

Viva Chromeo!!!
May you be prosperous and your special brand of revisionist 80's R&B go on forever!
But WHY didn't this album come out in time for the summer?!  I can't jam Chromeo properly in a friggin' winter coat.  Shit.

Chromeo - Don't Turn The Lights On

Awwwww, shit!

Took 'em long enough, but Chromeo is finally back with a proper single for their upcoming album, Business Casual.  I'm feelin' it.  It's exactly what a Chromeo jam should sound like.  Although it sounds like they might have had some fancier equipment this time around.

Do you think Chromeo fans are aware that there's an entire decade of R&B available for their downloadification that sounds just like this?  Probably not, right?

Chromeo - Night By Night

Chromeo "Night By Night" Video from GreenLabelSound on Vimeo.

I'm still mad at Chromeo for letting the whole summer go by without new jams.
I can't get funky in the winter.

Crazy coincidence, though.  An abandoned warehouse disco party in Brooklyn is exactly how I met my 3rd wife back in '06.

Chromeo - Night By Night

Well, well! About damn time we got some new Chromeo.
I can't believe they let the whole summer pass without any new music?

...and whoever is running this Green Label Sound stuff stays on point.
I love me some Mountain Dew.

Where's Chromeo?!

Chromeo Bonafied Lovin from VICE Records on Vimeo.

Haven't heard a thing from them it quite some time.
They couldn't possibly let a summer go by without some new jam, right?

Chromeo on Yo Gabba Gabba

I'm sure that on at least 2 separate occasions, I've yammered on about the magnificence that is Yo Gabba Gabba . . .so I won't bother this time.

Remix Artist Collective - RAC Vol. 1

The fine folks at Stereogum are offering up a "bit of fried gold" for free. Portuguese remixificator, Remix Artist Collective has put together a SERIOUSLY outstanding collection of remixes for some of my favorite jams.

The fun doesn't end there, my friends. RAC's website has a shitload of other great songs that he's worked over, including a 4 song set called Nintendo vs. Sega, which is exactly what you're thinking it is.

Chromeo DJ Set

Official after-party for the show.
