Ghostface Killah - 2getha Baby

Only Ghost would make a song about girls with this beat.
Sounds like Kool G. Rap is supposed to be on it.

Method Man x Ghostface x Raekwon - Our Dreams

The contrast between song and video is kinda funny for this one . . .but there's a visual theme for the album.  Wu Massacre out next Tuesday.

Ghostface?!

As arrogant and "internet blogger" as this sounds, it's not often that either A) I'm caught sleepin' on an album or B) my preconceptions about an album are off.

That said...DAMN
I completely missed the ball on Ghostface's new album.  This is one of the most complete album of 2009, regardless of genre.

I've never been a huge Wu/Ghost fan (Wu nerds bother me), so I assumed that this love-jam concept Ghost had was gonna be a complete train wreck (even though I loved "Baby" the first time I heard it)...WRONG!  The beats are dope, the story-telling is Slick Rick good, and Ghost delivers his tales like the shit he's talking about happened yesterday for real.

You're probably alot smarter than me and picked this album up already, but if you haven't...get on it.

Ghostface ft. Raheem DeVaughn - Baby

The hoodtasticness of this song and video is Grade A.
But why the hell is Raheem DeVaughn using auto-tune??

You know . . .this video shows you why I could never pick up them hood chicks. You can roll up on 'em, grab their arms and get all in their ear-holes and whatnot...and they LOVE that shit!! It's like they enjoy being hit on by a fuckin' gorilla. "A yo, whass good wichu, ma?" Word?! That's the secret password? I like chicks with big ass earrings and their name written on their jewelry too... But, NAH! I could never get me one, because my social approach doesn't include anything that could lead to a potential assault charge. Dammit.

That's cool though. I'll keep it in the suburbs. Girls over there got jobs and names I can spell.
Middlesex County, what up?!

Raekwon ft. Ghostface & Method Man - New Wu

Jeeeez...how many months (and song title changes) ago did we first get this song?!
Took 'em long enough to drop a video. It's still the jam though, so all is forgiven.

Here's what we're looking at . . .
A 60min. "Hip-Hopera" (as it were) created by blending different vocals from Nas, Jay, Biggie, Rae and Ghost with scenes from various music videos and movies.

Impossible to not check it our, right? Right.
Do so HERE.
