Chromeo ft. Elly Jackson - Hot Mess (Duck Sauce Remix)
Chromeo - Hot Mess (Duck Sauce Remix) by WICKS
Good remix of an already good remix.
There should be a word for that.

Chilly Gonzales - You Can Dance
Various body parts are set to jiggle in your face.
I'm an officially putting The Electro-piano Universe in the contact info for all my business cards. Right after I get business cards. Which will happen right after I get a reason to actually have business cards.
I like electro jams that sound like soundtracks to Sega Saturn games*
* DOUBLE NERD BONUS!!
Tassho Pearce & Prie - For The Love of Hip-Hop
Tassho Pearce ft. Prie Love of Hip Hop by privilegedsocietyinc
No idea who these kids are, but you gotta love the sentiment.

Slaughterhouse - Back On The Scene
Slaughterhouse – Back On the Scene Ft. Dres by Ready2ShineShow
About damn time. Sign the friggin' deal already and get back to work.
Am I wrong to be slightly disappointed with this?

Soulfully, Me: Confessions of a College Kid
Hmmm. Memphis, eh?
No lie, I just heard of this kid about an hour ago. Not too shabby.
He's not quite there yet, but in time, I can imagine him being kinda dope.
Hercules & Love Affair - My House
Holy hell, this is a boring day. First post @ 2:30?!
Anyway . . .
As you know, I have an often violent dislike for music videos that don't include embed codes. However, in rare circumstances, I can get past it. Such is the case with this H&LA video. In short...it's gonna remind you of that time in your youth when you were too young to realize how odd looking Downtown Julie Brown really was.
Wubba wubba, indeed.

Terrace Martin ft. Kendrick Lamar & CyHi Da Prynce
Universal Law: Sample Stevie Wonder and I will listen to your song every time.
That said, this song is kinda yuck. But the sample is a champion.
At the risk of being a blogger dick...
Is it just me, or has something changed for the worse with Kendrick Lamar lately? He's starting to sound like every other dumb young raper out there.

Saigon - The Greatest Story Never Told
Just Blaze on them beats.
Title track for the album that's seen as many delays as Detox.
Now THIS is the Saigon I remember!
I don't know what the hell some of that stuff was that he was releasing. Now I might have to check the album.
Discodeine ft. Jarvis Cocker - Synchronize
In case you forgot like I did, Discodeine is comprised of Frenchists, Pilooski and Pentile.
This videos just goes to confirm that all any of us really want is to dance a little while we drain our delusional lovers of blood.
Inc. - Usual Thangs
If you didn't like Purple Rain, stop reading right here.
I don't know who these people are, or if they're being serious, or if I'm actually supposed to chuckle at this rather than jam it as vigorously as I presently am . . .but dammit, this is great.
It's like going to Minneapolis in the 80's. For that 26min. window when Minneapolis had black people in it and they made super jams and had crazy participative concert audiences.

Yak Ballz - Machine
Damn, I missed some new Yak over the weekend?
M.I.A.: ViCKi LEEKX
This should either be dope or a disaster.
New mixtape with some unreleased stuff and a some leftovers from the album whose title I refuse to try and type. Get you some.
1982 ft. Action Bronson - Money Is Reality
Statik Selektah & Termanology must have recorded 100 songs together, because they somehow have another EP out with joints of this quality left to be released. Insane.
Go get The Evening News
Truck North: QuickTape
Out of nowhere (at least to me) we have a new mixtape from Truck North.
Features include Guilty Simpson and P.O.R.N.
